Pillow Warranty

The term "WARRANTY" refers to the restoration of conformity at no cost to the customer, through repair or replacement of the bed or its components in the event of manufacturer-confirmed defects that may arise within 2 years from the date of product delivery.

Warranty Management

The item subject to complaint will be inspected, and if the defect is confirmed, it will be repaired/replaced free of charge with the same item or, if discontinued, with a similar item available at the time of replacement, based on the latest catalog revision. Any replaced components will have a 2-year legal warranty starting from the moment of replacement.

Dorelan does not recognize any warranty other than this one.

For In-Store Purchases

The point of contact for reporting and managing a claim is always the retailer where the purchase was made. The retailer is responsible for verifying manufacturing defects and will coordinate intervention methods with the manufacturer. Dorelan will activate the warranty only upon specific request from the retailer.

Any extraordinary concessions beyond what is stated in this warranty will be the sole responsibility of the retailer.
Dorelan disclaims all liability for any damages caused to people, property, or animals resulting from failure to comply with the instructions outlined in this document.

For Purchases on the Website www.dorelan.com (Valid for Online Available Items)

  • Improper use, negligence, or poor maintenance/storage
  • Deterioration due to normal wear and tear or damage caused by the user (e.g., scratches, dents)
  • Failure to comply with the instructions in the Care & Maintenance Manual

Additional Details

Pilling

Pilling is a natural phenomenon where a layer of fuzz forms on the surface of knit fabrics or certain types of textiles, which then bunches up into small balls.

Bedding accessories such as pillow covers may accelerate or increase pilling because the fibers of the cover may intertwine with those of the pillow fabric.

To limit and slow down pilling on the pillow cover, it is recommended to use 100% cotton bedding of high thickness with a smooth texture.

However, pilling is inevitable and is caused by normal product use.

Persistent Odor

Any odors emitted by a newly purchased pillow are normal and will naturally dissipate over time, depending on how frequently the product is aired out.

Fabric Patterns

Even within the same product line, the pillow cover pattern may not be identical (i.e., it may not repeat symmetrically or systematically). This happens because the design continues across the full length of the fabric roll used during the cutting process, resulting in variations in the pattern across individual covers.

Mold Formation

Failure to follow general usage guidelines (e.g., insufficient product and room ventilation) combined with environmental factors (e.g., high humidity levels) can lead to mold growth. Mold spores are naturally present in the air, and their proliferation is not attributable to the construction of the pillow but rather to external factors.

To prevent mold growth, it is recommended to:

  • Follow the general usage guidelines provided in the Care & Maintenance Manual
  • Ensure the product is completely dry before covering it with bedding, especially after liquid spills or excessive sweating
  • Be aware that an apparently dry exterior does not necessarily mean the internal layers are completely dry

Wear & Tear

Over time, minor signs of wear may appear due to normal product use. This natural alteration does not compromise the technical characteristics or comfort of the mattress.

Waste Disposal

Once decommissioned, the product must be disposed of through authorized waste disposal or recycling channels. The packaging materials should also be sorted for recycling, following the indications provided on the packaging. Always adhere to the waste disposal guidelines of your local municipality.
