B&T acquires Facondini and strengthens its leadership in the bedding sector. Italian hub worth over 100 million euros is born.
B&T SpA is pleased to announce the acquisition of Facondini Materassi s.r.l.; operation perfectly in line with the company development plan, and of great resonance throughout the Italian bedding production sector, which will expand the distribution and growth capacity of the group.
The cornerstone of the integration is the significant market share occupied by Facondini srl in the e-commerce market thanks to a fully controlled brand. All this gives B&T the opportunity to expand its presence in the sector, with a view to three-year strategy which predicts strong growth in the online market directly proportional to its growth.
Founded in Pesaro in 1972, Facondini it owns five sales points between Emilia-Romagna and Marche, and generates a significant part of its turnover, of over 6 million euros, through e-commerce. Dorelan , on the other hand, can count on a network distributed throughout Italy, thanks to 150 physical franchising points of which 55 are owned and 2,000 resellers in Italy and abroad
An integration is thus achieved between two historic Made in Italy realities, specialized in sleeping solutions, which allows B&T to further consolidate its role, leading to the birth of an Italian hub in the sector with over 100 million euros in turnover .
"We are really satisfied with this acquisition", they proudly underline Diano Tura and Pietro Paolo Bergamaschi , founding partners of the B&T SpA Group which in 1968 they designed the first Dorelan mattress, laying the foundations of a success story made of Made in Italy quality, research, innovation, creativity and passion. "This is an important piece for the evolution of our business. Adding a company like Facondini to our structure offers us new opportunities for the future , further strengthening an expansion that already sees the Dorelan brand in constant growth, thanks to economic data and significant investments that are increasingly consolidating our presence on the Italian market, with important openings also abroad", Tura and Bergamaschi conclude.
